Two seminary students have killed their 15-year-old classmate Shoaib in the Allama Iqbal Colony, Faislabad.

The suspects hid the body in a drain after the murder. According to law enforcement, the two individuals initially attempted to blame a seminary teacher for the crime.

During questioning, both students admitted to the killing and directed Faisalabad police to the exact location of the body.

A kidnapping case had already been filed at the Batala Colony police station before officials recovered the victim. Police stated that murder charges under Section 302 have now been included in the FIR [First Information Report].

The incident took place just days after a separate madrassa torture case in Lahore’s Cantt area turned fatal.

A 12-year-old student named Ali Haider, who hailed from Bahawalnagar, died from injuries he sustained at the hands of his madrassa teacher.

His family had taken him home and continued treating him privately without informing police. It was only after his death that they approached law enforcement and filed a complaint.
