A 16-year-old TikToker was allegedly gang-raped by four men after forcing him to consume intoxicants in Chak 90/9-L village of Sahiwal, police said.
According to police, the boy lost his father years ago and lived with his widowed mother. He regularly used his mobile phone to upload videos on his TikTok account.
About a month ago, a man identified in the FIR [First Information Report] contacted the boy and promised to help promote his TikTok account and make him a star. The two continued communicating before meeting at Old Sabzi Mandi on Monday.
The man then took the boy to a house in Chak 90/9-L, telling him they would discuss the matter further. Police said that the man and one of his accomplices forced drugs onto the boy while holding him on gunpoint.
Another two suspects later joined them, according to the police. The suspects allegedly took the boy’s mobile phone and also served him an intoxicant mixed in a soft drink.
The boy told police that after he became intoxicated, all four suspects raped him. They later left the scene, leaving him unconscious.
After regaining consciousness, the boy told his mother about the incident. She then approached Ghala Mandi Police and reported the matter.
Police registered a case against all four identified suspects, who are residents of Sahiwal city, under Section 376(iii) and Section 176A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Further investigation is underway.
