'2 Idiots': Vidhu Vinod Chopra hints at 3 Idiots sequel

Guess what? The Bollywood film 3 Idiots might just have a sequel in the works, and it’s called 2 Idiots.

The iconic film 3 Idiots, starring a talented cast including Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani, and Omi Vaidya, is still a favorite blockbuster, winning over audiences.

It is comedy combined with a powerful message about education, career, and friendship that still resonates with viewers.

In a recent interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Chopra shared exciting news not only about the script for Munna Bhai 3 but also a potential sequel to 3 Idiots, titled 2 Idiots. The filmmaker confirmed that he’s working on both projects, along with a children’s film.

He revealed that he is working on both 2 Idiots and Munna Bhai 3, adding that they should be ready in a year or two.

Speaking about his other projects, he shared that he is working on a children's film, “though the title hasn’t been decided yet."

The director of 12th Fail also mentioned that he is in the process of making a horror comedy that promises plenty of laughs. Despite having several ideas in the works, he took a thoughtful approach to scriptwriting.
