Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz awarded the world champion of the javelin throw, Arshad Nadeem, with huge prizes. She reached the gold medalist’s village, Mian Channu, by helicopter, met the athlete and his family, and congratulated him on his historic achievement.
He also awarded Arshad Nadeem Rs 10 crore and a Honda Civic car for winning the gold medal and promised to pave village roads, build a hospital, and build a university.
After meeting with Arshad Nadeem, she left for Lahore from Mian Channu.
