A senior security official has said that India’s systematic oppression of minorities, specifically Muslims, could lead to a humanitarian crisis exceeding the scale of Gaza, and the next major massacre is feared to take place under the violent Hindutva-driven rule there.

Speaking during a media briefing, reports quoted sources as saying, the official noted that the Indian leadership refused to accept ground realities, and described the state as an extremist entity that has compromised its own military’s political neutrality.

The official also said that India’s hostile regional actions, particularly the targeting of Pakistan, were designed to divert international and domestic attention away from internal structural problems.

Reports also quoted the official as describing India as a deeply divided society operating as a police state through strict control over press freedom. The systematic discrimination against minorities, especially Muslims, who are forced to constantly prove their loyalty, is expected to sharpen these internal divisions, the official said.

Consequently, they added, regional friction is escalating as the Khalistan movement intensifies and conditions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) deteriorate daily.

The territory of IIOJK has been transformed into the world’s largest military garrison, with one soldier deployed for every seven to eight civilians, the official told journalists.

They also spoke of Indian orchestration of false-flag operations and routine blaming of Pakistan to mask Indian indigenous freedom movements from global scrutiny.

Sections of the Indian media and political leadership remain focused on manufacturing hostile narratives because they view a stable, moderate neighbour as a threat, the official said.

The briefing by the official, reports said, concluded by noting that the banned Joint Awami Action Committee’s (JAAC) senior leadership in Azad Kashmir was pursuing an external agenda, though Pakistan remains unintimidated.
