In a fun interaction on Instagram's Ask Me a Question, director Haseeb Hassan was asked by a fan, “Please cast Maya with Ahmed Ali Akbar in romantic drama. Really want to see them as a pair.”

The Jannat Say Agay director couldn't resist and tagged both actors in his reply, sparking a wave of excitement.

Maya Ali shared the story with the caption, “Khoobsurat Khayal” (beautiful thought), fueling fan excitement about the potential pairing. 

Maya Ali has starred in drama such as Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, Zid, Khoya Khoya Chand, Ranjish Hi Sahi, Shanakht, Sanam, Aik Nayee Cinderella, Ladon Mein Pali, Mera Naam Yousaf Hai, Dur-e Sehwar, Aun Zara, Jo Bichar Gaye, Yunhi, Mann Mayal, Sunn Mere Dil.   

 
Whereas Ahmed Ali Akbar starred in drama such as, Nazo, Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain, Idiot, Tajdeed-e- Wafa, Siyah, Paiwand, Mera Yaar Miladay, Dusri Biwi, Phir Wohi Mohabbat, Munkir, Ehd-e-Wafa,  Yeh Raha Dil, Parizaad, Nadaan and currently he is starring in Faraar. 

Now, fans are eagerly hoping that this dream pairing will come true.
