Singer Aima Baig has urged her fans to cut certain people out of their lives after receiving an outpouring of support following a painful facial injury.

Baig recently shared that she accidentally hit her face against a glass door, leaving her with significant swelling and a large bruise around her eye. She later addressed her followers in a lengthy video recorded around 4:30am, explaining what happened and thanking those who checked on her.

“I just slammed my face in a glass door. The situation is not good. There’s a lot of swelling,” Baig said while showing her injury.

The singer explained that she had been looking in another direction when she turned and failed to notice the glass in front of her. She said that the impact caused a brief blackout because of the pain, leaving her with what she described as the biggest bruise of her life.

“I have never had such a big bruise in my life. I have never had such a big injury in my life,” she said.

Baig also clarified that the injury did not involve domestic violence after some followers asked about it.

“It’s nothing like that brothers and sisters,” she stated firmly. “I just turned around and I didn’t see the glass in front of me.”

She detailed that she had been icing the affected area, asking her followers to pray for the swelling and pain to improve.

Much of Baig’s video, however, focused on the support she received from people she did not expect to hear from. She became emotional while discussing those who checked on her and contrasted them with people she expected to be there for her but who did not reach out.

“The people who you have expectations with, they are nowhere to be found,” she stressed.

Baig then shared a message for her followers, encouraging them to distance themselves from people who only remain around during good times.

“Cut out those people who are big red flags. Who don’t support you in your grief. Who don’t support you in your illness. Who don’t support you in your weakness. Who don’t support you in your most vulnerable state.”

She said that people should pay attention to how others treat them during difficult moments rather than only focusing on their presence during happier times.

“If no one is asking, then understand that those people will never support you in your bad times,” Baig said.

Baig also thanked her followers for their prayers and concern, saying their response had made her emotional.

“I was very happy that you guys were here for me. You guys gave me blessings. And you guys gave me happiness,” she remarked.

She ended the video by thanking her supporters and asking them to continue praying for her recovery.
