Ali Raza recently appeared on the talk show Gloss Etc., hosted by Maliha Rehman, where he discussed the dynamics of repeating on-screen pairings in the Pakistani drama industry.

The actor addressed the trend of production houses casting successful pairs to guarantee commercial interest. He stated that if a pairing becomes a hit, production teams often believe the project is 50 percent sold based on that chemistry alone.

When Rehman asked about the possibility of him appearing alongside Anmol Baloch again, Raza confirmed that they receive numerous offers to work together. However, he explained that both actors are intentionally waiting for the right script.

"I get offered a lot of projects opposite Anmol but we both want to wait for something that we are excited about. When a jodi is a hit, it is important to put time in between projects," Raza said during the interview.

He noted that returning as a pair too quickly presents a specific challenge, as viewers tend to compare new roles to their previous characters. Raza emphasized that maintaining a gap between projects helps preserve the impact of the pairing rather than exhausting its appeal immediately.

He also mentioned that while they are trying to find a project to collaborate on, the goal is to choose work that they both feel passionate about.

The duo previously shared the screen in the drama serial Iqtiqar, where their performances as a lead pair gained significant attention from the audience. The popularity of their characters in that project remains the primary reason fans and producers frequently seek their reunion on television.
