Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani arranged a three-day pre-wedding ceremony for his son Anant and fiance Radhika Merchant, which came to a total expenditure of $152 million (1,260 crores INR).

Ambani held the most expensive in India in 2018 of his daughter, which reportedly cost $100 million (828 crores INR). In this wedding US pop megastar Beyonce performed.

This time Rihanna, the multi-award-winning popstar performed in the ceremony. According VN Express reports, she was paid £5 million (52 crore INR). Rihanna came out of an eight year retirement for the event and took social media by storm when she posed with Indian paparazzi and airport staff.

A large number of employees as well as a group of more than 100 chefs from the Indian city of Indore, who produced 2,500 dishes that included Mexican, Chinese, Indian, and European cuisines. Another expense was securing 1000 guests including some of the world’s wealthiest individuals.

Ambani and wife Nita, along with their son Anant and his fiancee Radhika, launched a three-day feast for more than 51,000 villagers at the Reliance Township in his hometown of Jamnagar.

Ambani sent private planes for all foreign guests.

Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, cricket super stars Sachin Tendulkar and M.S. Dhoni, and industry titan Gautam Adani were invited in the grand ceremony.

According to Indian media, superstars Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were picked up in a Rolls Royce, while the Ambanis arranged a bus for all the others. Actors like Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ananya Panday were seen boarding a bus at the airport.
