Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt’s entry into cinema has moved one step towards conpletion with actress Amar Khan now confirmed as the female lead opposite him.
Rajab first hinted at the project months ago when he shared behind-the-scenes footage from the shooting of a large-scale song sequence. The clips drew wide speculation about his move to the big screen, though details about his co-star and the film itself stayed under wraps at the time.
Reports now confirm Amar Khan will play the female lead opposite Rajab, an on-screen pairing that has already caught the attention of entertainment audiences.
According to reports, the first major shooting spell is now complete. The film has been described as a high-budget action romance that also addresses the issue of women trafficking. Rajab is reportedly personally invested in the project and is said to be partly financing it himself.
Rajab’s close friends and fellow content creators Haider, Dogar and Shahbaz are also set to appear in supporting roles.
Veteran filmmaker Syed Faisal Bukhari is directing the film, while choreographer Nigah Jee is handling the musical sequences. The soundtrack is being developed by prominent Pakistani music composers, reports have said.
Filming is taking place across Punjab and in Bangkok, Thailand.
The production has already completed its first shooting spell, and the makers are working toward a theatrical release across Pakistan in 2027.
