Amitabh Bachchan’s Mumbai property sale sparks buzz in Bollywood
Bollywood's legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan has made headlines with a remarkable profit by selling his duplex apartment in Mumbai's Oshiwara area.
The property, located in Atlantis, a residential project by Crystal Group, was sold for a whopping INR 83 crore, resulting in a 168 percent profit for Bachchan.
Big B had bought the duplex apartment in April 2021 for just INR 31 crore, selling it for INT 83 crore just four years later with a profit of 168 percent.
The apartment was rented out to actress Kriti Sanon in November 2021 on a monthly rent of Rs 10 lakh and a security deposit of Rs 60 lakh.
The Bachchan family invested over Rs 100 crore in real estate in 2024, focusing mainly on residential and commercial properties in Oshiwara and Magathane (Borivali East).
Big B's real estate portfolio reflects his strategic investment approach, crossing INR 200 crore from 2020 to 2024.
