Singer Asim Azhar will bring his Asim Ali tour to Pakistan in November, after performing sold-out shows around the world. He will perform in three cities: Faisalabad, Lahore and Islamabad.
Asim announced the tour in an Instagram video, where he answered fans who had asked why he had not brought the tour home sooner. The “Jo Tu Na Mila” singer said that his international shows showed him how large concerts run at global venues, including their technical capabilities and production standards.
He said he wanted to take that experience back to Pakistan and raise the standard of live performances in the country. “I wanted to experience how tours happen on a global standard and gather that experience and bring it to Pakistan,” he said.
Asim confirmed that he plans a production that stands out through its visual effects, stage setup, set design, setlist and overall audience experience. He wants fans to see a concert unlike anything they have seen in Pakistan before.
“Waited so long to finally say this… after sold out shows across the globe. Asim Ali Tour is coming home,” he wrote in the caption.
According to his announcement, the tour starts in Faisalabad on November 6, moves to Lahore on November 7 and ends in Islamabad on November 8.
“We’re going to give Pakistan the biggest tour yet. I promise. Tickets lelo bas,” he wrote.
Actor Fahad Mustafa reshared the announcement on Instagram and asked playfully, “Kya bhai mujhe bhi ana hai?”
