Karachi is set to host its first international electronic music event on September 19, with Swedish DJ and producer Axwell headlining First Light at Moin Khan Academy, DHA Sports Club.
Axwell, whose real name is Axel Christofer Hedfors, is a member of Swedish House Mafia and one of the leading names in modern electronic music.
The event was conceived and creatively directed by OP Productions CEO Omer H Paracha, and takes its name from the moment of dawn.
Organisers describe it as a cinematic, light-led production built around a purpose-built stage, large-format visuals and a strong focus on audience safety.
Local acts Bilal Brohi and Hazey will open the night before Axwell’s headline set.
Tickets are available through Ticketwala across six categories. Bronze is priced at PKR 8,500, Silver at PKR 12,500, and the Pink Section, reserved exclusively for solo women, at PKR 14,999. Gold tickets cost PKR 18,500, VIP is priced at PKR 30,000, and Platinum tops the list at PKR 50,000. Limited early-bird pricing is available across all tiers for a limited period.
