BCCI receives fake application from Narendra Modi for team coach
The Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) has received fake applications for the position of head coach from Narendra Modi, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and others.
According to Indian media reports, the cricket board has received around 3,000 applications including fake ones, for the post.
In 2022, BCCI received 5,000 applications, including fake ones sent in the name of many well-known personalities.
The Indian board released an online Google form for head coaches earlier this month and the deadline for submission of applications was May 27.
The tenure of Indian current head coach Rahul Dravid is ending when T20 World Cup finishes.
