Call Her Daddy Video Episodes Shift to YouTube Amid Spotify-SiriusXM Transition

Alex Cooper’s video episodes of the show ‘Call Her Daddy’ are moving from Spotify to YouTube.

Now, Cooper's video episodes of 'Call Her Daddy' and other Unwell Network shows will be moving from Spotify to YouTube. This includes 'Hot Mess with Alix Earle' and 'Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy.' Audio versions of all podcasts will continue to be available far and wide.

Cooper announced her Instagram Story on Monday. She claimed that it would lead to "all-new episodes of 'Call Her Daddy' on YouTube for free." The move comes in the wake of SiriusXM closing the deal to acquire Cooper's podcast network for up to $125 million. The world's top female podcaster, Cooper had previously fallen under Spotify's slate of shows. 

In August, when the deal was announced, Cooper stated, "I am beyond excited to work with SiriusXM.” “My top priority will always remain the Daddy Gang. And with SiriusXM, we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience possible. "We are preparing to provide The Daddy Gang with more because they want more. This new phase of my life, I am excited to begin.”

Spotify has given Alex Cooper's show a lot of attention since the podcast network's launch in 2018. Call Her Daddy is always ranked number one behind Joe Rogan’s podcast. It is a major accomplishment for SiriusXM to steal her content from Spotify. However, specialists question whether the satellite radio company has overpaid. The three-year $60 million contract with Cooper was not renewed in 2021, while reports state that SiriusXM paid between $100 million and $125 million for the deal.
