Nick Foles Can't Help but Troll Tom Brady Following Eagles' Super Bowl Victory
Nick Foles added fuel to the fire on Sunday night by slightly digging at Tom Brady.
After Sunday's match, former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, the MVP of the previous season's Super Bowl win, took to social media to lightheartedly criticize Tom Brady while celebrating the win. He wrote that it is pretty amazing that Brady attended the Eagles’ two Super Bowl victories. He may be a very effective good luck charm.
Foles couldn't have enjoyed himself more after Super Bowl LIX, where the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs by 40-22.
Foles was named the MVP of the 2018 Super Bowl, which featured Brady and the New England Patriots as the opposing team. That season, Carson Wentz enabled and backed Foles. He played fantastically well in the second half of the season when Wentz was injured.
Tom Brady now works as a commentator, and alongside Kevin Burkhardt on Fox, he called Amazingly Ryan’s first game of the season. He is bound to Fox TV after signing a substantial 10-year deal.
There is much to point out about the Chiefs' championship season. Saquon Barkley broke many records throughout the season. Moreover, quarterback Jalen Hurts led them to an NFC East title and won the Super Bowl MVP award. Tom Brady had nothing to do with that.
But the Eagles are 2-0 in the Super Bowl with Tom Brady in the building. That's not up for debate. Eagles ownership will have to find a way to bring him there next time they make it to the Super Bowl.
