Two Pakistan Army Aviation pilots embraced martyrdom after their Mushshak training aircraft crashed near Nawan Killi in Quetta district on Monday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

ISPR cited a technical fault as the reason for the crash.

The pilots were Major Husnain Shehzad Humayun, the instructor, and Captain Abdul Samad, the student pilot.

President Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief over the pilots’ deaths and offered condolences to their families.

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif also expressed sorrow, according to the state-run Associated Press of Pakistan.
