The cast of the South Korean film Hope has sent a video message to Pakistani audiences ahead of the film’s release in the country on October 23.

As per the details, Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung and Hoyeon introduced themselves and invited fans to watch the film in cinemas.

“Hello audiences in Pakistan,” they said, then introduced their characters.

The cast also described the story in the video. Bum-seok is the chief of a police outpost near the demilitarised zone in Hope Harbor. He hears reports from locals that a tiger has appeared in the village. As the entire town falls into chaos, he faces an unbelievable reality.

The actors promised a fast and intense experience. They said the story races forward “with an unpredictable rhythm and explosive energy from start to finish”.

They also thanked fans for their support so far. “We really appreciate all your support for Hope,” they said and asked viewers to keep showing the film “lots of love and support”.

The cast closed with a direct invitation to Pakistani fans. “We are so excited to meet audiences around the world,” they said.

Na Hong-jin has written and directed Hope. He has previously made The Chaser, The Yellow Sea and The Wailing. Hwang has worked with him on The Wailing. Hope is Na’s first English-language feature, and it premiered in the main competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The film runs 160 minutes.

Reports describe it as the most expensive film ever made in South Korea, with a reported budget of 50 billion won, about $33 million.
