Celine Dion is heading back to the stage after a prolonged battle with a rare neurological disorder.
An announcement shared on her Instagram account confirmed 10 shows at Paris La Défense Arena, a 40,000 seat venue, scheduled for September and October.
"This year, I'm getting the best birthday gift of my life," Dion said in a video posted to her account. The singer, who turned 58 on Monday, also said she is "feeling good" and "strong," and was seen doing a little dancing in the clip.
"I'm feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I'm grateful to all of you," she added. "I love you all and I'll see you soon!"
The news did not come entirely out of the blue. Last week, posters featuring titles of her songs started showing up around Paris, which got people talking.
Canadian outlet La Presse had also reported that Dion would be doing a residency at the arena. She added fuel to the speculation herself by posting a string of throwback photos of herself in Paris on Instagram.
Presale for tickets opens April 7.
The comeback is a significant moment for Dion, who stepped back from the spotlight as she dealt with a health condition she kept largely private before opening up in a 2024 documentary.
In 2022, she revealed she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder, and announced that she was pushing back several European tour dates.
