The pro wrestling community is grieving the retirement of veteran wrestler Christopher Daniels aka “The Fallen Angel” from the ring. He made the crucial decision on January 22, 2025. He is 54 now, and Daniels further elaborated that he just had to take a break because his doctors suggested it.

The retirement was expected after his fight with “Hangman” Adam Page on January 18, 2025, during the AEW match. Daniels regrets this whole fight and now believes it should never have happened. Ultimately, Daniels stated he had no option but to retire after the doctors warned him he could never get into the ring. At the end of the address, all he could say was “This was goodbye.”
