Another Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) paper has reportedly been leaked on social media, adding to a series of security failures during the ongoing exam cycle.

According to a private media outlet, an A-Level Business Studies paper began circulating on social media during the night between Monday and Tuesday. By around 12:41 PM on Tuesday, the paper was being shared widely across platforms.

Reports have claimed that three different A-Level papers were in circulation, with the Business Studies paper confirmed among them.

Cambridge International Education did not respond to requests for comment when approached.

The development follows an earlier incident on April 30, when Cambridge confirmed that an AS Level Mathematics paper had been leaked before the scheduled exam.

In a statement, the exam body stated that the Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics Paper 12 (9709), conducted across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Pakistan and South Asia, had been “shared prematurely” in violation of exam regulations.

The organisation stated that it has initiated an investigation to assess the scope of the breach and determine further action.

“Our priority is to ensure that students are not disadvantaged by this incident, and we are taking all possible measures to protect the integrity of our exams,” the statement read.

Cambridge further noted that decisions on the next steps will be taken by senior professionals based on verified information, with an emphasis on maintaining grading standards and limiting disruption for candidates.

The exam body stated that cases of this nature are uncommon and that action is taken against centres or individuals involved in malpractice.

“We value the trust placed in us to deliver over two million exams each year across 160 countries and to provide fair and reliable results,” it added.

Students and schools have been asked to wait for further updates, with the organisation stating that more information will be shared by May 7, 2026.
