Investigations into the case of alleged drug dealer Anmol, alias Pinky, revealed that she burned her hands with acid to destroy forensic evidence prior to her arrest.
According to the investigators, the suspect frequently claimed no other producer in Pakistan could match the quality of her cocaine.
Anmol reportedly branded her product as “Gold” and sold it in specialized packaging. During the raid, officials seized bottles and boxes labeled “Queen Madam Pinky Don”.
Investigations suggest she maintained secret laboratories in both Lahore and Karachi, with the Karachi hub serving as her primary distribution network while Lahore handled large-scale production.
Authorities claim the suspect personally tested each batch of cocaine before authorizing its distribution.
The report also details parts of her lifestyle, alleging that she spent Rs500,000 on grapes to distill homemade red wine.
According to police, she was weeks away from launching a more expensive variety of narcotics before the Sindh Police intervention. Anmol currently faces approximately 15 cases involving narcotics and money laundering.
She has been a proclaimed offender since the Anti-Narcotics Force first registered a case against her in 2019.
The arrest has now triggered a jurisdictional tug-of-war. Punjab Police are seeking her custody from Sindh to investigate three cases registered in Lahore between 2019 and 2022.
One 2022 FIR describes a raid in Shadab Colony where a woman allegedly attempted to run over police officers with an SUV before escaping, leaving behind Anmol’s brother and a cache of drugs.
The investigation has also turned inward toward the Punjab Police. Internal reports suggest officers in the former Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) took bribes to avoid arresting her. One retired official reportedly received a house and a vehicle from the suspect.
DIG Investigation Zeeshan Raza confirmed that the department is moving to take over the suspect’s custody.
“We are approaching the courts concerned to seek permission for the arrest of Anmol alias Pinky,” Raza stated. He added that teams have been formed to move her from Karachi to Lahore.
The DIG also noted that departmental action has been initiated against investigating officers who failed to arrest her in previous years despite her presence in the city.
