A cricket commentator joked about a young fan’s banner during the tri-series match between Sri Lanka and England in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The banner read, “I sold my sister’s phone to get this seat.”

The commentator commented on it during the broadcast. “It must have been a cheap phone,” he remarked.

Fans have turned out in large numbers for the ODI tri-series, which features Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka. Rawalpindi hosts the first three matches, with Sri Lanka and England playing the last match there.

Pakistan won both of its matches in Rawalpindi. In the opening game on October 18, Pakistan scored 305 and beat Sri Lanka by 37 runs. Two days later, Pakistan scored 302 for 9 and bowled England out for 215 in 38.4 overs, winning by 87 runs. Arafat Minhas took 6 for 40 and scored 59 in that match.

The series now moves to the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, which hosts the remaining four matches, including the final. Pakistan play England on October 25 and Sri Lanka on October 27. Sri Lanka and England meet on October 29. The top two teams then play the final on October 31.

Sri Lanka will stay in Pakistan after the tri-series for a two-Test series. The first Test starts in Rawalpindi on November 9, and the second starts in Lahore on November 17.
