A police constable has accused his senior officer of sexually exploiting him after he requested leave, media outlets reported on Monday.

According to reports, the constable later lodged a complaint on the Citizens Portal, alleging that an inspector posted at the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) office in Lahore sexually assaulted him when he approached him for leave.

He reportedly claimed that after turning down his request, the inspector urged him to remain silent, saying, “Such things often happen.” The constable is now calling for legal action against the officer.

This incident comes months after a uniformed policeman was caught raping a woman who had been begging in Lahore’s Manawan area.

When confronted by a citizen named Sajid, who was also filming him, the officer threw a shoe at him before opening fire. The bullet struck Sajid in the leg, and in the video, he can be heard screaming before showing his bleeding leg on camera.

Locals overpowered the officer and handed him over to Manawan police, while Sajid was taken to hospital for treatment.

Despite his injury, Sajid continued to follow the policeman, who attempted to put on his shoes and flee the scene.
