Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has banned for two matches and fined after making inappropriate gestures during a match against Al-Shabaab.

According to foreign media reports, Cristiano Ronaldo, who represents Al-Nasr Club in the Saudi Football League, is facing a ban for making inappropriate gestures at the fans during the game against Al-Shabaab.

During the match, fans chanted “Messi Messi”, referring to Argentinian star player Lionel Messi, angering Ronaldo. However, after scoring a goal, he made inappropriate gestures towards the fans. A video went viral on social media.

Later, the Saudi football body announced an investigation into the video and banned and fined the player. Ronaldo’s team won the match 3-2.

However, now after the ban, the star footballer has been ruled out of today’s match against Al Hazm and is expected to be absent from the AFC Champions League quarter-final match as well.
