TV host Nadia Khan has criticised controversial drama writer Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, saying his work has lost its impact and has become hard to watch.

Nadia Khan recently appeared as a guest on a Ramzan show, where she shared her views on several topics related to media and society.

During the show, the host asked her to give free advice to different well-known personalities. Nadia Khan offered light and engaging comments on various figures, including actors, media personalities, and political leaders.

However, her tone changed when the segment reached Khalil ur Rehman Qamar.

Nadia Khan said that the writer once produced excellent dramas but believes his recent work has crossed a line. “He used to write very well, but now I will only say this that whenever you write a drama, present women in a positive way,” she said.

She further advised the writer to avoid portraying women in an overly negative manner.

Nadia Khan explained that such content becomes exhausting for viewers who closely follow dramas. “Do not show women in such a negative way. For people like us who watch dramas three times for review purposes, it becomes unbearable because we have to hear the same dialogues again and again,” she said.

Nadia Khan concluded her remarks by urging Khalil ur Rehman Qamar to depict women more respectfully and positively in his future projects, calling it important for both viewers and the overall quality of Pakistani dramas.
