Doctor’s four-day-old body found in car at Lahore Children’s Hospital parking

The body of a doctor was found inside his car in the parking area of Lahore Children’s Hospital after going unnoticed for four days.

According to reports, the deceased was identified as Dr Ahmed Latif, who worked in the hematology department of the hospital.

While officials also found drugs inside the car, probe is underway as to why hospital staff did not raise concern despite his continuous absence from duty for four days.

The hospital administration has formed a four-member committee to investigate the incident.

The committee will submit its report within 24 hours.
