YouTuber Rajab Butt sent his ex-wife Emaan Fatima a defamation case notice along with a legal notice regarding the custody of their son on her birthday, it has emerged.
This was revealed by Emaan in a recent vlog by her brother Aon Sheikh, which showed the two opening her birthday gifts.
In the background, Emaan can be heard saying, “Mujhe aur bhi pyaray gifts aye hain wahaan se, aik defamation notice, aur aik Kivan ki custody ka [I received even more lovely gifts from there… a defamation notice, and one for Kivan’s custody].”
While Butt has not yet commented on, or confirmed, the claimed notices, it merits a mention that he married Emaan Fatima in 2024 in a wedding that went viral on social media.
The marriage ran into trouble after Aon publicly accused Butt of cheating on Emaan while she was pregnant.
The couple welcomed their son, Kivan Sultan, in September 2025.
Soon after, Butt announced during a podcast appearance that he intended to end the marriage, and subsequently sent Emaan a divorce notice, which she shared on her Instagram story with a caption describing the toll the situation had taken on her and their son.
The separation played out publicly for months. Aon Sheikh regularly spoke out in her defence and clashed with Butt online. In July 2026, he claimed the two sides had reconciled and the matter had been resolved.
However, Butt dismissed the claims during a TikTok Live session, saying that the divorce was final and that he considered the matter closed. He maintained that he would continue to fulfil his responsibilities toward his son.
Rajab maintains one of the larger social media followings in Pakistan, with close to nine million subscribers on YouTube and roughly 2.9 million followers on Instagram.
He has been involved in several public disputes and legal matters in the past, including a defamation case he pursued against a TikToker over harassment allegations recently.
