A video circulating on social media claims that a politician ordered that both legs of a young boy be cut off.
The video, which has been making rounds on X, shows the victim’s brother alleging that the attack took place in Multan. He claims that people from his own union council carried out the attack, adding around ten individuals were involved and that threats were also made at Nishtar Hospital.
The clip has been shared widely, with users presenting it as evidence of a brutal act of political victimisation.
Multan Police’s spokesman has rejected the claims in a comment under the video on X, saying that the incident is approximately ten years old and that no evidence has emerged to confirm that the legs of any individual were cut off.
He added that the incident was the result of a dispute rooted in a family rivalry, after which both parties reached a formal reconciliation.
