Lahore’s Defence B police have registered a case against TikToker Samea Mubarak for driving a car without a number plate and injuring a police constable while trying to flee a police check-post.
According to reports, Samea, who is the sister of prominent content creator Nadeem Mubarak aka Nadeem Nani Wala, was driving an Audi without a number plate when officers stopped her at the check-post. She allegedly tried to flee, hitting and injuring a constable while attempting to do so.
Police pursued the vehicle and took Samea and her friend into custody.
Further proceedings are underway.
Meanwhile, Lahore Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran has announced that three officials, including the Defence B station house officer, clerk and a female constable, have been removed from their posts in connection with the case.
The move came after claims surfaced that they gave Samea special treatment and released her shortly after her arrest, allegedly receiving bribes in return.
