Fiza Ali has sparked a host of reactions on social media after appearing in her husband’s clothes for her television show. The actor shared photos on Instagram wearing a green kurta pajama and waistcoat belonging to her husband Ejaz Khan.

Ali captioned the post by stating that wearing his suit made her feel as though he was present with her. She later addressed the wardrobe choice during her show, explaining that the decision was a response to persistent public inquiries about her husband.

“I came to my show today wearing his clothes because people were asking me to introduce them to my husband and by wearing his clothes, I feel he is with me,” Ali told her audience. She further claimed that the act made her feel empowered, stating, “Mrs. Ijaz has become very strong today”.

The segment and the accompanying social media posts triggered immediate criticism and mockery from netizens. 

Critics questioned the logic of the performance, with one user asking, “Bhai why does she even do all of this?” Others directed their frustration at the network, stating, “What’s wrong with her? The channel is also tolerating her because of the ratings”.

Many viewers found the explanation for her outfit confusing. One comment described it as a “senseless statement,” while another mocked the idea of clothes providing strength, remarking, “You feel strong when you wear your husband’s clothes? What a joke”. The humor continued with one user asking, “So does this mean your husband is wearing your clothes?” and another declaring the situation as the “new meme in the market.”

Some comments reflected nostalgia, with one stating, “We miss the PTV era. It was something else, we didn’t have to see these attention-seeking clowns chasing TRPs every day.”

Ali announced her third marriage to Ejaz Khan on the first day of Eidul Fitr. She shared the news by posting a slideshow of photos featuring Khan and her daughter from an intimate nikah ceremony.
