A video clip of an Israeli border police officer approaching a Palestinian vehicle in the Qalandia refugee camp, shouting at the passengers and dropping a stun grenade inside before holding the door shut to trap them, has left the internet furious at the occupation army’s cruelty.
The video shows the officer confronting Palestinian passengers inside a car before pulling a flashbang from his belt and throwing it through the open front door. As the vehicle fills with smoke from the explosion, two back-seat passengers manage to flee from the opposite side, while the officer holds the driver’s door closed. He then steps back and fires his weapon toward the escaping passengers as they seek cover.
The passengers survived the assault.
Israel Police stated that the officer’s actions did not align with official operational protocols, an assertion that does not match documented excesses.
Authorities confirmed that the individual has been suspended from duty.
The clip went viral on social media, drawing heavy condemnation and a wave of public reactions.
One commentator questioned the disparity in global attention, writing, “If this was a car with an Israeli family in it, world leaders would, rightfully so, demand action. Why not now? Cowards.”
Another individual described the Israelis as “the most satanic people on this planet.”
