Former police officer Lieutenant (Retired) Ahmed Mohiyuddin has joined Humanetek Pvt Ltd as Chief Public Trust Officer, following his premature retirement from government service.
Humanetek, the parent company of the Mohafiz and Mohsyn platforms, announced his appointment on social media The company said Mohiyuddin would be responsible for overseeing public trust and stakeholder confidence across its operations.
Mohiyuddin is a former BS-19 officer of the Police Service of Pakistan who previously served as Assistant Inspector General at the Punjab Police Central Police Office.
He also served as District Police Officer of Dera Ghazi Khan, where he gained wider public recognition for conducting “Khuli Kachehri” sessions to hear citizens’ complaints.
Before joining the police service, Mohiyuddin served as a Lieutenant in the Pakistan Navy.
Humanetek operates Mohafiz, an emergency response and crisis management platform, and Mohsyn, a service aimed at assisting overseas Pakistanis with the care and management of their families and properties in Pakistan.
The company said Mohafiz operates in Pakistan and several other countries, while Mohsyn provides support services to overseas Pakistanis through trained and security-vetted service providers.
Mohiyuddin’s appointment comes after the Establishment Division approved his request for premature retirement from government service.
His decision to leave the police service had prompted speculation on social media about the reasons behind his premature retirement.
However, the Establishment Division’s notification approving his retirement did not give a reason for his departure.
The notification stated that his retirement took effect immediately and also cancelled the unavailed portion of his previously approved ex-Pakistan leave.
