Hollywood actor Anne Hathaway was seen carrying a leather bag by Lahore-based brand Warp during a press appearance for The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Mexico City, bringing attention to the Pakistani label.

Hathaway appeared at La Casa Azul, the iconic home of Frida Kahlo, wearing a Schiaparelli outfit paired with a black Tobla leather bag by Warp. The structured accessory was prominently visible alongside the ensemble during the appearance.

The bag, priced at Rs35,000, drew attention across fashion platforms following images and videos from the event.

Warp has previously been spotted at prestigious international events. Last year, American rapper and singer Doja Cat was photographed carrying the brand’s archival Hexella Baguette during an album launch event at Mercer Labs in New York City.

Actor Lupita Nyong’o has also been seen with the brand’s Hexella Petit Crystal Black during a press appearance in New York.

A number of Pakistani brands continue to gain visibility outside local markets.

Lahore-based brand Rastah, founded by Zain Ahmad, Ismail Ahmad and Adnan Ahmad in 2018, has been worn by many Hollywood celebrities including Justin Bieber, Timothée Chalamet, Riz Ahmed, Barry Keoghan and Zayn Malik.

In a separate instance, Pakistani brand FOUND was seen on stage through artist Bad Bunny after the Super Bowl. Videos shared online showed the artist wearing custom accessories by the Lahore-based label during a performance.

The development followed the brand’s disclosure that it had been in contention to design accessories for the Super Bowl halftime show, a role that went to Spanish brand Zara.
