A physical altercation erupted in a Los Angeles (LA), United States (US) studio on Monday during the filming of the Digital Social Hour podcast when California congressional candidate Dennis Feitosa, known online as Def Noodles, confronted Arab-Israeli activist and former Israel Defence Forces (IDF) soldier Yoseph Haddad over statements regarding genocide in Gaza.
Video footage circulating on social media shows the exchange escalating after a four-and-a-half-hour recording session. Feitosa accused Haddad of monologuing and boasting about ordering strikes on civilian targets and schools.
“This genocidal a**hole is just sitting here monologuing for four and a half hours,” Feitosa said, pointing at Haddad. “This guy admitted that he was bombing schools.”
Feitosa stood up and challenged Haddad to stand next to him, highlighting the height difference between them. Haddad dismissed the statement, saying, “He can’t do shit, bro.” Feitosa responded, “I can do whatever I want,” before telling the studio crew that Haddad was a foot shorter than him.
Haddad remarked that Palestinians do not listen, to which Feitosa replied, “I’m not Palestinian, I’m American.”
Feitosa continued calling Haddad a coward and ordering children to be killed. Haddad denied the statement, saying, “I didn’t kill anyone.”
The argument turned physical when Feitosa lunged across the studio table. Studio crew members intervened.
Feitosa reached for Haddad’s hand before Haddad pulled him forward, causing their heads to collide. Additional footage showed the altercation continuing outside the studio.
Online users reacted to the footage across social media platforms. Several commentators mocked Haddad’s physical stature during the argument, with one writing, “That fact that when we stood up he was so much shorter was hilarious,” and another asking, “They let 4 foot m*s serve in the IDF?”
Others questioned the guest selection, asking, “Why invite that rat in the first place,” while another called Haddad a “Short a** troll.. you’re going to brag about shooting children and now you’re scared.”
Public commentary also focused on the content of the podcast exchange. Viewers expressed anger over the admitted military actions, with one person stating, “Gross that you are being proud of killing innocent civilians and children too,” while another noted, “They openly admit the war crimes and still walk free….insane.”
Several users supported Feitosa’s action, writing, “Yep, I would also be launching myself across that table too. IDF filth,” alongside a comment reading, “Sometimes violence is the answer.”
Further online responses targeted pro-Israel activists, with one user writing, “The world has the right to hate these satanic zionists!”
Another comment read, “They deserve this humiliation! Humiliate them.” Another commentator urged, “Please never let them feel peace. always bother them, always mock them, always confront them.”
