Gohar Rasheed sets off wedding rumours with new post

Right after the  Sheheryar Munawar and Maheen Siddiqui  wedding stole the spotlight from every other event, another celebrity couple may just be about to get hitched too.

Gohar Rasheed has set off rumors of his impending wedding with Kubra Khan with a video he posted on Instagram on Monday night. The video shows Gohar and Kubra at a house with lots of friends, tea and samosay and a cute dog in attendance. He titled it "2025 Bismillah".

Social media users flooded the comments, congratulating the duo. One user pointed out, "Kubra Khan's house but it is Gohar's wedding. Are you getting it?"

Others were left curious about who the bride may be. Kubra Khan's Instagram account remains silent, with the last post put up in October 2024.

Adding to the speculation, earlier, Gohar Rasheed had appeared on After Hours wih Ushna Shah, where he was asked if he was single. He replied, “I am not single; she’s an amazing person, and now I can't imagine my life without her.” While Gohar Rasheed didn’t reveal the name of his partner, fans guessed it might be Kubra Khan.

While giving an interview to The Current Life, actress Kubra Khan was asked about her best friend in the industry.

  “My best friend in the industry, yes, it's Mirza, he’s been my best friend for the past nine years now,” she replied.

As the rumors swirl, fans expressed their excitement.  One fan posted on Gohar's Instagram: “So happy for you both.”

 Another added, “They both are so good, am so happy they found each other!!! Looking forward to their pictures!!!”

One fan commented, “The bride's name is Kubra Khan.”

Although the buzz around Kubra Khan being the bride is growing, neither Gohar nor Kubra has confirmed the rumors.

 The Alif actress herself addressed the gossip, mentioning in an interview: “I’m used to it now. I’m wondering if it happens; you guys made it happen. I swear, you guys pushed it so much… But no, it doesn’t bother me anymore, to be honest, because it has been happening for eight years, and eventually now I’m like, yeah, whatever.”

Kubra Khan has starred in dramas such as Khuda aur Muhabbat season 2,  Andaaz –e- Sitaam, Alif Allah Aur Insaan, and Alif.

With all the excitement surrounding Gohar’s post, fans eagerly await an official announcement. Will 2025 be the year for this celebrity wedding?
