Green Entertainment’s new drama Kuch Na Kehna brings power, love, and betrayal

Green Entertainment has been giving us all kinds of stories, breaking the mold every step of the way. It started strong with major hits, then came the family dramas, making sure there was something for everyone.

But alongside these, we also got fresh and unique narratives—22 Qadam, a story about women’s cricket, and more recently, DuniyaPur and Shark Tank Pakistan! And it doesn’t stop there. While we’re still hooked on Faraar, the new drama Kuch Na Kehna looks like it’s about to make it to your watchlist too.

From the teasers, Kuch Na Kehna gives us everything—power struggles, politics, deception, and lies (of course!). But at its core, it’s about a love story brewing in a household where workers are treated as lesser humans, setting the stage for a gripping tale of hierarchy and hidden agendas.

Naumaan Ijaz and Savera Nadeem step in as the ultimate power couple. He’s a seasoned politician, but it’s his wife who truly runs the show. She pulls the strings, and tells him what to do and what not—but is she his biggest supporter, or is she planning his downfall? The teasers drop some serious hints of betrayal, with Savera’s character making promises of both power and love to Syed Jibran’s character.

Then we have the young and hopelessly-in-love duo—Usama Khan and Maha Hasan. Usama’s character works for Naumaan Ijaz, and his daughter falls for him. Sounds familiar? Maybe. But let’s see if Kuch Na Kehna gives this classic formula a fresh twist!

One teaser (totally filmy!) shows Usama’s character being dragged across the ground and held up by Naumaan Ijaz, facing brutal punishment—because how dare he romance his daughter? The rage, the humiliation, the power imbalance—it’s all there, making it clear that love alone won’t be enough to break through these rigid societal hierarchies. How far will he be pushed? Will Maha Hasan’s character fight for him, or will she have to bow down to her father’s authority? This intense clash of love and power, backed by a solid cast, has us hoping that the story won’t get lost in the usual dramatic tropes.

Kuch Na Kehna starts today (March 19) on Green Entertainment at 8 PM. Tune in every Wednesday to follow the story.
The drama is written and directed by Iqbal Hussain and produced by Multiverse Entertainment. The cast includes Naumaan Ijaz, Usama Khan, Savera Nadeem, Syed Jibran, Maha Hasan, Saleem Sheikh, and Natasha Ali.
