Hania Aamir breaks silence on Bollywood debut claims
Will a Bollywood offer change everything? Actress Hania Aamir, who has gained significant popularity across the border in recent months, has finally opened up on rumours of a Bollywood debut.
Speaking at the Sahara Foundation fundraiser, the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum actress shared her thoughts on working in India. “I will consider working in Bollywood if I ever get offered a good project. That is what I will base my choice on when picking a project in India.”
Hania’s statement comes amid claims that she has already been invited to work in India. The claims surfaced amid unprecedented love for the actor from across the border, most of it has been in response to the hit drama serial Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum that was well-received by Indian audiences.
Earlier, appearing as a guest on The Dubai Journey, hosted by Rannvijay Singha, the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum actress shared her excitement about bringing this fun character to life, also mentioning her love for other Bollywood roles like Pushpa.
The host, Rannvijay Singha, asked, “So if you had to play the role of an already existing iconic character from one of the Indian films, which one would it be?”
Hania Aamir replied, “I would love to play Chhota Pandit from Bhool Bhulaiyaa (the first one) or Pushpa. I would totally kill it in those roles.”
Hania’s love for Bollywood doesn’t stop there. She also revealed her favourite film, saying, “Om Shanti Om is my favourite film, favourite film. I love Tamasha and Ram Leela.”
Two months,Indian journalist Faridoon Shahryar hosted a meet and greet session with the breakout star in Toronto, where the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum actress expressed a heartfelt wish to meet the Bollywood King.
"Shahrukh Khan, if you are watching this video, please meet me, I haven’t met you yet, and that's very sad," the charming actress said smilingly.
Hania was then asked about her favorite Shahrukh Khan film and she immediately replied, "Om Shanti Om is my favorite film.” The 2007 smash hit starred Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Rampal.
