Popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir and Indian superstar Diljit Dosanjh are enjoying massive box office success as their new film Sardaar Ji 3 races ahead of several major films in Pakistan.

According to reports, the Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 has set new records with its outstanding business across the country, including in Lahore where it is screening on more than 30 cinema screens. The film, produced by Gambhir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu and Diljit Dosanjh, was released nationwide on June 27.

Despite facing strong opposition in India, Sardaar Ji 3 created history in Pakistan by becoming the highest first-day grosser for any Indian film released in the country. The film collected an impressive PKR 3.5 crore on its opening day, surpassing Salman Khan’s 2016 blockbuster Sultan.

Meanwhile, the film’s global earnings have crossed 36.6 crores.

Packed with comedy, fantasy and horror, Sardaar Ji 3 features Diljit Dosanjh as a ghost hunter. The story revolves around a haunted mansion in the UK, where Diljit, Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa and Pakistani actors Nasir Chinyoti, Saleem Albela and Daniyal Khawar set out on an adventurous mission.

With strong audience turnout and rave reviews, Sardaar Ji 3 looks set to continue its record-breaking run in the coming days.
