Actress Hania Aamir has shared a cryptic message on Instagram about the way people react to commercial success when it involves a woman.

Without naming anyone or providing context for the post, Hania wrote on her Instagram Stories, “All love, but it’s interesting how concerned we get about brands and their marketing when the success in question belongs to a woman.”

Her post comes after veteran actor Faysal Qureshi spoke about Hania’s growing popularity and commercial value during a recent podcast appearance.

During the conversation, Faysal was asked about a viral clip involving Hania and reports that she had demanded Rs2 million for a podcast appearance. He defended her right to ask for the amount, pointing to her current popularity and demand among major brands.

“If you look at Hania right now, she is a star. If you step outside and start looking at the signboards and advertisements, you’ll see Hania everywhere. Everything is selling under her name. Every major firm or brand that is currently doing well wants to use her to sell its products,” he said.

Faysal added, “She knows that this is her time. So, if she has demanded Rs2 million, I think that’s okay.”

The discussion referred to reports that Hania had asked for Rs2 million to appear on a podcast.

Hania has not publicly confirmed that she demanded the amount.
