The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced a total prize money of 10 million dollars for the World Cup. On November 19, the winning team will be awarded four million dollars, while the team that loses the final will not return empty-handed. A prize money of two million dollars will be given to the runners up. Each group match-winning team will be awarded 40 thousand dollars per match.

The six teams that do not qualify for the semi-finals will be given one lac dollars each, the losing semi-final teams will receive eight million dollars.

Pakistan has won four group matches and their prize money of $160,000 has already been paid, but the prizes will continue to increase on further achievements. According to ICC’s financial model 2017 to 2023, ICC India will get a major share of the revenue.
