Humayun Saeed looks like my father, says Gul-e-Rana

Senior actress Gul e Rana has revealed that she has been primarily involved in production, even performing tasks like picking up actors' shoes and ironing their clothes.

Singer Asim Azhar's mother Gul e Rana recently appeared on a show where she spoke openly about her career, the showbiz industry, and her views on new actresses.

Talking about her career in production, she shared, "While I was working as a senior producer on TV, I also picked up actors' slippers and ironed their clothes." She clarified, "I am not mainly related to acting but to production. I was working as a senior producer until 2008."

She stated, "Acting can be improved, but acting cannot be taught." She emphasized that a director plays a crucial role in honing an actor's skills.

Giving full credit to her directors for her unique roles, she said, "If they did not offer me different roles, how could I have done it?"

Sharing her experiences with young actresses on set, she remarked, "When I see the bitter behavior of young actresses, I answer them to their faces." She further added, "If an actress behaves inappropriately in front of me, I tell her that it is not right."

Discussing the struggles in her career, she acknowledged, "There were many difficulties, but the real taste of success comes only after hardships." She added, "One who has not seen sorrow cannot feel happiness."

On the topic of working with Humayun Saeed, she humorously stated, "I will never play the role of Humayun Saeed's mother because he will look like my father."

Speaking about love and marriage, she bluntly said, "One-sided love is the biggest foolishness." Reflecting on her own experience, she admitted, "My marriage was based on one-sided love and my foolishness."
