Pakistani superstar and producer Humayun Saeed has hinted at reducing cinema ticket prices after the box office success of his latest film Love Guru.

Speaking to news media alongside senior actor Mustafa Qureshi and Karachi Press Club President Fazil Jamili, Humayun Saeed discussed the challenges faced by the local film industry including the lack of cinema screens and high ticket prices that stop many people from going to the movies.

“Making a film in Pakistan is a challenge because the investment is high and the returns are uncertain,” he said.

When asked about making cinema more accessible, he shared, "If the film’s box office business keeps going strong, I plan to offer half-price tickets for the general public so more people can enjoy it in cinemas."

He also opened up about his nervousness during the film’s early days. "In the beginning, I was anxious and stayed home," he revealed. "But the film’s success gave me the confidence to come out and be among the public."
