A scene from the latest episode of Hum TV’s drama Hurmat, featuring Amaz Butt as Faraz, has drawn reactions on social media, with netizens mocking his delivery of the dialogue, “Hurmat meri hai, sirf meri” (Hurmat is mine, only mine).
In the scene, Faraz declares that Hurmat belongs to him, but his performance has left several viewers cringing, with some comparing his acting to that of other social media personalities.
Hurmat stars Dananeer Mobeen as Hurmat and Shahveer Jafry as Tabish, an assistant commissioner. The drama is written by Kashif Anwar and directed by Nadeem Siddique, with Momina Duraid Productions serving as its producer.
The dialogue has become a talking point among viewers, with several users sharing their reactions and poking fun at Faraz’s expressions and delivery.
One user wrote, “THE SECONDHAND EMBARRASSMENT I JUST GOT FROM THIS MAN BRO WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS”.
Another viewer questioned the performance, asking, “Is he possessed or something? Man, what a clownfest.”
Others were equally unimpressed, with one person saying, “My six-year-old nephew does a better job convincing us he wants a toy than this dude!”
Some posts mocked the hype surrounding the actor, with one commenting that he had turned out to be a worse actor than Rajab Butt. Another simply wrote, “Bro, what was that?”
One comment described the performance as a complete loss of aura.
The dialogue also prompted jokes about Faraz’s character, with one viewer writing that the poor guy was getting kicked out of university over his “Hurmat is mine” obsession.
Another user said that the scene made them laugh, while a viewer who had supported the pairing of Hurmat and Faraz admitted, “Boy gave me second-hand embarrassment. Like, how do I forgive myself for shipping Hurmat with him?”
Others repeated Faraz’s dialogue sarcastically, with one writing, “Faraz, bruh, sit down. HURMAT IS MINE!”
