A woman died on Saturday after her husband opened fire on her during an argument at a clinic in Charsadda’s Tangi area.
The victim visited her husband Zeeshan at his dental clinic near Chungi stop, where an argument took place between the couple. Zeeshan discharged a firearm at his wife, killing her at the scene.
An FIR (First Information Report) filed by the victim’s daughter notes that her mother remarried Zeeshan, a resident of Sraikh Mirozai village, four years after her first marriage ended in a divorce.
The complainant stated to police officers that her mother died on the spot after being shot.
