YouTuber Rajab Butt has landed in a fresh controversy after posting messages purportedly sent by his brother-in-law Sheikh Aon to someone on Instagram.
Rajab said he never wanted to make the messages public but felt forced to act after months of criticism directed at his family.
"I've many more such recordings and ss [screenshots].. even more intense. So I am breaking the silence once and for all! I've never wanted to bring this on social media like this but now I am done!" Rajab wrote in his Instagram story.
He accused Aon of using offensive language, leaking personal details to podcast hosts and manipulating people by playing the sympathy card.
"My mother, my sister, my whole family even a 9 month old kid has been accused, criticised for months just because they stood by me and never left me alone like others just because they supported the truth and kept the silence. But now it's enough! You need to stop!" he stated.
Rajab stressed that his wife and child should not be used for sympathy narratives.
"My wife my son is not your sympathy game!" he wrote.
He also addressed questions about his son Kivaan's absence from vlogs, explaining the decision came from the child's mother.
"Kivaan's mother herself forbid his grandmother strictly to not even take Kivaan's name in vlogs. This is why we never used Kivan's name. But still they accepted the unnecessary hate for this matter as well for whom? For me! For my relation! For my marriage! For my son!" Rajab clarified.

The YouTuber warned critics discussing him and his wife Eman to fear Allah, claiming he possesses recordings and screenshots to support his allegations.
"People only discussing Eman and Rajab, who provides them the material? I've all the recording all the ss. Fear Allah," he stated.
Rajab questioned Aon's ethics after the latter allegedly used offensive terms for him and his family.
"Calling your own sister's husband, his family member, his friends a 'balatkari' [rapists]! Does that show your ethics?" he wrote.
Expressing uncertainty about his marriage, Rajab wrote: "I don't know if this marriage would work or not.. if it does, thats only by the will of Allah [sic]!"
He concluded by emphasising his son remains the top priority. "Kivan is our first priority and will always be! He is our son! End of discussion!"
Last year, when people asked why Eman did not appear in his vlogs, Rajab had said in a podcast that she felt depressed and did not consent to appear on screen.
However, Eman's brother Sheikh Aon later said in a video that Eman is well educated and not the kind of woman who feels depressed on social media. He added that if someone has to talk on behalf of Eman, it will be him or his mother, and whoever is talking on her behalf in podcasts should stop.
Following this, Rajab had faced multiple cases in Pakistan and fled to the UK, where he remained over two months away from his wife and family.
Multiple legal cases currently hang over the YouTuber. Among them is one filed by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in September, accusing him of promoting illegal gambling apps including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365 and B9 Game.
