Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali has criticized the state of infrastructure in Karachi, claiming that the city’s roads are deteriorated to the point where he requires physiotherapy after every visit.
Speaking to a private media outlet, the PML-N politician said, “There is not a single road in the city that does not have bumps.” Ali also highlighted that the residents of Karachi are still dealing with a continuous shortage of “clean drinking water.”
During the interview, the PML-N leader addressed the legal situation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. Ali stated that the former prime minister is facing the consequences of his own actions, adding that the current government has not filed any politically motivated cases against him.
When questioned about the legal case involving the marriage of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi during her Iddat period, Ali chose not to comment directly on the matter.
He said that as a father of daughters, he prefers not to discuss the details of the Iddat case, adding that the timing of their marriage is a matter between them and God.
Ali also dismissed ongoing reports suggesting that PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has become politically inactive, challenging critics to play cricket with the former premier to see how active he remains.
On the topic of water management and canal construction, the PML-N leader called for an end to political disputes over water distribution.
