An old video of popular TikToker and actress Jannat Mirza has resurfaced online, in which she claims she was once offered a role alongside Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan.

 

The viral clip is from a 2020 interview Jannat gave to a YouTube channel, where she candidly discussed her career and the opportunities she turned down.

 

"I was offered the lead role in a Bollywood film with Kartik Aaryan, but I refused," she claimed.

 

When asked why she declined the opportunity, she explained, "Firstly, my father would never allow me to work in an Indian film, and secondly, I myself had no desire to do so."

 

She added, "I had no desire to go to India and work, which is why I turned down the offer."

 

In other interviews, Jannat Mirza also revealed that she was offered roles in major Pakistani dramas, but she turned them down as well.

 

“I was offered the negative role played by Kubra Khan in Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, and also the role played by Ushna Shah in Parizaad, but I refused both,” she shared.

 

Jannat starred in the Punjabi film Tere Bajre Di Rakhi, directed by Syed Noor, where Saima played her mother. However, the film did not do well at the box office.

 

The resurfaced video has reignited curiosity, especially since she did not share any further details about the alleged Bollywood project with Kartik Aaryan.
