The wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar, grandson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and son of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, have officially begun with a grand mehndi ceremony held in Jati Umra on Friday evening.

The mehndi function for Junaid and his bride, Shanzeh Ali Rohale, brought together close relatives, family members and distinguished guests from both families.

Junaid marked the occasion by sharing his first photograph with Shanzeh, who is the granddaughter of PML-N leader Rohail Asghar, on Instagram. CM Maryam could also be seen in the photograph.

The groom wore a navy-coloured HSY sherwani, layered with a coordinating brown shawl while Shanzeh wore a dark green Sabyasachi lehenga.
