Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt has spoken out strongly against India’s recent “cowardly” missile attacks, condemning the assault on Pakistani civilians carried out under the cover of darkness.

Taking to Instagram, Muneeb shared a powerful video in which he criticised Indian aggression and called for national unity.

“India carried out a cowardly attack in the dark of night, targeting innocent children in madrasas and the poor living nearby,” he said.

Calling for a united front, Muneeb addressed the Pakistani public, saying: “I want to say one thing to my people this is not the time to fight each other over politics. We’ve been attacked by an external enemy. At this moment, we all need to unite and send one clear message: the people of Pakistan are not afraid of anyone.”

Referring to Pakistan’s defence capabilities, he added: “Pakistan is a nuclear power the only Islamic country with nuclear weapons. India has no idea it has put its hand in the mouth of a lion. This attack will be responded to befittingly.”

Muneeb emphasised that his criticism is not aimed at the Indian public, but rather at those fueling extremist ideologies, stating, “We have no enmity with the Indian people. Our fight is against the anti-Islamic mindset of India’s current leadership. As long as there is blood in our veins, we will resist this mindset and we will win.”

Indian army launched overnight attacks on Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bagh in Azad Kashmir, as well as Muridke and Ahmedpur Sharqia in Punjab, resulting in the martyrdom of 26 civilians, including two children and injuring 46 others. Two mosques were also destroyed in the assault.

In response, Pakistan’s armed forces launched a decisive counterattack, reportedly destroying three Rafale jets, a Sukhoi, a MiG-29, and two drones. Additionally, they hit Indian brigade headquarters, forcing the Indian side to raise white flags at multiple points along the Line of Control (LoC), an apparent admission of defeat.
